I have started working in the immigration by investment business early in 2016. At the time, the biggest challenge presented to me by the Government of Malta was the setting up of the Malta Residency Visa Agency (re-branded as Residency Malta Agency). This Agency was to promote and manage the processing of the Malta Residency Visa Programme (re-branded as Malta Permanent Residency Programme) internationally. This Progamme provides non-Europeans the opportunity to settle indefinitely in Malta and six months visa access into the Schengen Zone. Having worked for many years in senior HR leadership strategic positions, the setting up an Immigration Agency with the right robust foundations that could allow it to grow and prosper was very challenging but rewarding.
